8one6 and I are editing our latest podcast. Holy crap! If it wasn’t for the editing software we would sound like the podcast of the speech impared. Stuttering, repeating ourselves, mispeaking, long pauses, and the dreaded UMM are proving to be a nightmare. Plus I hate the sound of my own voice. We should be called Porky and Jethro Fudd. Is it just me or does Jethro Fudd sound like a NASCAR driver?
We have decided to do a podcast about editing a podcast at some point. Lord help us all.

So the initial tests of the recorder are promising. I’ll most likely be recording at medium gain and I’ll have to amplify the audio in audacity before it is workable. I need to decide on a format for posting. I’m pretty sure that the first few are going to be digests from the games we run, but I’m bound to get more creative as time goes on. For now, here’s one of the test files I recorded.
